DEFINITIONS:
PARODY: an imitaiton of a writer's or artist's work, style or perosnality.

PERSONIFICATION: giving things human qualities

DICTION: the choice of words one uses to express something

SYNTAX; the arrangement of words in a sentence

LEXICON: a specialized voabulary

ASSONANCE: the repitiion of a vowel sound within a sentence.

ALLITERATION: the repitition of consonant sound in a word within a sentence.

PUN: two words that soud alike but have different meanings.

REPETITION: the act of repeating something /doing or acting something again and again.
